Hey Steve! I'm actually waiting to sign up for the next dates of your driving session. Other than that I might be moving to New York and will possibly be checking out Drivers East in the future since they are close by.

What have you been working on?

Hey Josh ~ To tell you the truth I haven't been wrking on to many films right now. Seems as if my skills are in high demand by federal and municipal agencies this time of year that want to focus on extreme/advanced driving skills.

To me it really doesn't matter if I drive in films, or on a closed training course . . . driving is driving baby!!! :)

That's fantastic Steve. I agree with that as well, driving is driving. The more I can drive the more I can learn!

Great to hear from you!

Holy smokes Steve, I just bought a plane ticket to Seattle for the summer session. I can't wait to meet all you guys! It's pretty exciting. Any words of advice for me?

Matt ~ Bring an open mind and a willingness to learn. Many of the techniques you will be learining in the stunt field may be new, but listen, watch, and absorb. As far as driving, well, you may be bored in the begining, but, this will be a great time to make sure some of the techniques you are currently using to drive are the best ones.

It will also give you a chance to watch what other drivers do and see if what they do will work for you as well. Some of the close proximity driving will be a blast and you should hopefully learn a lot there.

I will see you in August. Have a safe trip!!!

Sounds great. I don't have much experience in close proximity driving, so I'm sure it'll be a good time!

Thanks!

Hey Brandon - No worries, I try and check this site as often as I can. I am waiting for my schedule to be locked in to see when the best time would be to get some classes in. All I can say is keep checking the site and hopefully dates will be posted soon :) Be safe out there!!!!

Awesome extremely fast reply was not expecting that. I have so many questions I wish I could ask them all without destroying my keyboard haha. the big main question i have for you is...if i go to your class would that be enough experiance to start my career as a professional driver or would i have to take that information home with me and practice even more on my own time and use videos to try to get jobs?

Just happen to be online when I saw your post :) So many answers to that one question. The easiest way to explain it is this: the school will supply all the basic knowledge you need to get started as a professional driver, but, it will be up to you to refine it, mold it so it fits you. Then you start promoting/marketing yourself to get the gigs. Two things I want you to remember: #1 Nothing in driving is definitive - it is always changing based on the conditions you are driving in.
#2 The hardest part isn't finding a driving gig, it's finding the next one :)

Ohhh okay so your school is like the basics that i need to know and im the one who has to master them...i truely cannot wait to experiance your class, i did a class in austalia idk if youve ever heard of it its called "The Wrx Experiance" i think i dont remember it was a year ago and all i remember is the adrenaline rush i had when i was flying around that dirt course haha so driving is totally for me i just hope i can make it happen

Very cool!!! Driving is such a rush, but, nothing better then taking it to the edge, controlling it, then bringing it back. Our basics are rather extreme though. High speed driving with other cars in very close proximity to you, and yes, there tends to be a bit of vehicle contact as drivers learn the dynamics of driving with other cars close by. All in all . . . metal mayhem at its finest!
