Haha that made me laugh just thinking about it...how many people do you normaly accept into one of your classes and what kind of cars do you normally use because i know all cars act differently, and a little paint trading is always fun Oh and sorry for all these questions but..i saw that u had your last class in march in Coos Bay Oregon is that where you always have your classes?

It all depends on the time of year and if we will be offering more then one class - then we try and keep the numbers as low as we can. For now all the classes are in Coos Bay. In time we will be moving the sessions closer to Portland to make it easier for people to attend. But, until we can find a location that will fit our needs, we are stuck in Coos Bay.

Hello,

Does anyone know if there are any major differences between those two stunt driving schools Bobby Ore and Rick Seaman.
I am a seasoned precision driver with rally driving background and advanced tactical driving and I want to break into stunt/precision driving industry. I am at the point of taking stunt driving courses and the above mentioned schools stand out from the bunch. I was wondering if there are any major differences in the teaching methods, approach, methodology and ultimately the results.

Thank you anticipated for your time and effort.

Marin ~ I could go into a lengthy discussion on the various differences between the two schools you mentioned. Both are very good and respected driving schools. Each one basically covers all the same elements and techniques as the other. I believe the biggest difference is price, plus, I think to enroll in Rick's class you have to be a member of SAG. Are you a member? If so, you should be all set.

Rick's class is a tiered system I believe. You have to complete one phase to move on to the next, which, I don't think is the case at Ore's. I know many drivers that have gone through both and from their stand point one doesn't really shine above the other.

Not sure this reply really helps, but, it's the best I can do right now.

Hey Steve,

Thank you for your time and effort. I registered for Bobby Ore's classes. Unfortunately we do not have such a school here in Lower Mainland (Vancouver, BC).

No I am not a SAG member; I live in Canada. I believe that after Bobby Ore's school I will try Rick Seaman's as well. Hope to pick up a thing or two from the both of them. I am more on the precision and acrobatic aspect of the stunt driving than crashes, jumps and burns.

I come from an environment where speed, precision, few km, plus or minus, few inches, plus or minus, make the difference between life and death. In the precision driving environment that I come from there is no "second take", so would be nice to change to the film industry where you can have as many as 3-4 takes to get it right.

Any word of advice, any "pointers" in regards to the Film Stunt/Precision Driving industry would be greatly appreciated.

Speaking of "pointers"... would you be so kind please and refer to my new thread "Bobby Ore's 4-8 shuffle steering system" and give me your input?

Once again thank you kindly for your answer.
